wān wān de yuè ér xiǎo xiǎo de chuán ,
xiǎo xiǎo de chuán ér liǎng tóu jiān 。
wǒ zài xiǎo xiǎo de chuán lǐ zuò ,
zhī kàn jiàn shǎn shǎn de xīng xīng lán lán de tiān 。
It is written by Ye Shengtao, a great Chinese educater for kids as well as a well-known writer. I translated it in the following, I am sorry for unprofessional work.
A curved moon is like a small boat,
The small boat has two pointed ends.
I sit in the small boat,
The twinkling stars against blue skys are all in my eyes.
I think a curved moon should be a cresent moon? who can help me to polish translation? I am appreciated.
Add english translation and a picture, hope it is helpful. |
Yep, the curved moon is called crescent moon.
I have this problem with the Chinese language: how do we differentiate whether it's "A crescent moon is like a small boat" and not vice-versa?
ie."A small boat is like a crescent moon,
pointed at both ends.
I sit in the small boat,
gazing at the stars twinkling in the blue skies"
